The mission of Vertical Essence Dance Company is to make a difference in the community by educating minority children in multiple aspects of dance including, dance history, health & wellness, body movement and instill values that will encourage leadership building, self-esteem, self expression, and community engagement. Our continuous goal is to keep children off the streets and teach them that they are not limited to what is written herein.
Since 2005 Vertical Essence have kept 750 youth inspired through dance.
Each year we are reaching out to the adults in the community, building partnerships, and opening up new levels of dance in attempts to build a fun and healthy relationship between individuals who enjoy dance and youth looking for an outlet in the community. This summer we will be partnering with It's Showtime Performing Arts Company!!
